Nestled within an old building, Mercure boasts a serene ambiance that lures you into a state of tranquil rejuvenation. The spa services offer a sanctuary for relaxation after a day of exploration. Despite the recent refurbishment, which I found slightly discordant with my taste, the hotel retains its charm. The staff, service-minded and accommodating, added to the comforting experience. I particularly appreciated the well-kept garden area, providing a peaceful retreat.Although I didn't utilize the fitness center or golf course this time, they offer a blend of leisure opportunities. Their restaurant, maintaining quality, is a crucial highlight. The serene sun terrace offers a perfect spot for unwinding with a drink.While my personal preferences lean towards a different décor style, Mercure's convenient location, comforting ambiance, and welcoming staff make it a solid choice for a leisurely retreat in Melbourne.
